Rehydration & Electrolytes Oral Powder
Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) powder formulated per WHO-recommended formula to restore body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration. Available in sachets for easy reconstitution.
Each 21g sachet contains: Sodium Chloride BP 2.60g, Potassium Chloride BP 1.50g, Sodium Citrate BP 2.90g, Anhydrous Glucose BP 13.50g, Excipients q.s.

Oral electrolyte replacement therapy for fluid loss in children and adults due to dehydration associated with acute diarrhea.
Dissolve entire content of one 21g sachet in approximately 1000ml (1 litre) of fresh, clean drinking water. Infants: 1 litre per 24 hours. Children: 1 litre per 4-6 hours. Adults: as much as tolerated, continue until diarrhea stops. Use prepared solution within 24 hours; do not boil after reconstitution. For oral use only.

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient is a contraindication. Not suitable for severe dehydration requiring parenteral fluid therapy or intestinal obstruction. Not recommended in renal disease with anuria/oligouria, or severe persistent diarrhea and vomiting. Diabetic patients should monitor sugar content. Infants under 2 years with severe diarrhea/vomiting should see a physician promptly.
Vomiting may occur if solution is administered too rapidly; if so, pause for 10 minutes and resume in smaller, more frequent amounts. Risk of hypernatremia or overhydration is low in patients with normal renal function.
