Antiseptic Solution
Topical microbicidal antiseptic solution used for pre and post-operative skin degermation, treatment of superficial wounds, burns and vaginal preparation before surgical procedures.
Povidone Iodine BP 10% w/v (Available Iodine 1% w/v), Purified Water BP Q.S.
Colour: brown coloured solution
Used for pre and post-operative skin degermation for all surgical procedures. Also used for antiseptic treatment of superficial wounds, traumatic injuries, burns, and vaginal preparation before surgical procedures.
Apply full strength, as often as required, as a paint or wet soak, or use as directed by the physician.

Protect from sunlight. Store below 30°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Not recommended for patients with known iodine sensitivity or thyroid disorders. Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
May cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged use on large areas may lead to iodine absorption; discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Microbicidal activity is retained in the presence of blood and pus, and persists as long as the golden brown colour remains, indicating disinfected areas
