Medical Representative – Hospitals

Looking for an Enthusiastic, Efficient & Trustworthy Medical Representative – Hospitals for a leading MNC “Ronak Empire” for
Angola, Africa.


Key Responsibilities

1. Hospital & Institutional Sales
  • Develop and manage relationships with hospital purchase, pharmacy, and admin teams
  • Generate orders through:
  • Rate contracts
  • Indents
  • Repeat institutional requirements
  • Ensure regular product availability at hospital level
2. Government Hospital & Tender Support
  • Coordinate with government hospitals for routine requirements
  • Handle empanelment processes
  • Support tender documentation (tender filing handled by HO)
3. Order Execution & Follow-up
  • Ensure timely order placement, dispatch, and delivery
  • Follow up on pending orders and short supplies
  • Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and accounts teams
4. Payment & Collection Coordination
  • Follow up with hospital accounts for outstanding payments
  • Coordinate with HO accounts for ledger and credit note closures
  • Ensure adherence to approved credit terms
5. Product Knowledge & Commercial Understanding
  • Strong understanding of product range, pricing, and MOQ
  • Communicate approved offers and schemes
  • Maintain pricing discipline
6. Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain records of orders and outstanding payments
  • Submit daily / weekly sales reports
  • Update CRM / ERP systems
7. Market Intelligence
  • Track competitor pricing and hospital buying patterns
  • Share market insights with management

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong institutional selling skills
  • Hospital procurement process understanding
  • Commercial negotiation skills
  • Strong coordination and follow-up discipline
  • Basic computer and ERP knowledge

Preferred Background

  • Pharma / healthcare institutional sales experience
  • Exposure to injectables or hospital products
  • Familiarity with hospital purchase cycles

  • Order value achievement
  • Repeat hospital orders
  • Payment realization and ageing control
  • Active hospital account growth

Contract Term

3 Years (Extendable)

Preferred Candidate

  • Must learn Portuguese within three months
  • Already in Angola or willing to relocate
  • Experience in Pharma & FMCG

  • Strong time management and analytical skills
