Paracetamol Tablets
Paracetamol tablets with analgesic and antipyretic action, used for relief of mild to moderate pain and febrile conditions such as headache, toothache, colds, flu and rheumatic pain.
Each uncoated tablet contains Paracetamol BP 500 mg, Excipients Q.S.
Colour: White coloured uncoated tablets
For relief of mild to moderate pain and febrile conditions such as headache, toothache, colds and flu, rheumatic pain and dysmenorrhea.
Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as required, up to a maximum of 8 tablets daily in divided doses. Children 6-12 years: half to one tablet every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 tablets daily. Not recommended for children under 6 years. For oral administration.

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol. Use with caution in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment. Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products. Prolonged use of analgesics for headache may worsen headaches; discontinue under medical advice. Seek immediate medical advice in case of overdose, even if feeling well.
Adverse effects are rare but hypersensitivity reactions including skin rashes may occur. Very rare cases of blood disorders (thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, agranulocytosis) and severe skin reactions have been reported.
Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic action similar to aspirin, making it a suitable alternative for patients sensitive to aspirin
