Skin Care Ointment
Antifungal ointment used for skin infections, burns, insect bites and eczema. Contains Benzoic Acid and Salicylic Acid for Anti fungal and keratolytic action.
Each tube contains: Benzoic Acid BP 6% w/w, Salicylic Acid BP 3% w/w, Ointment base q.s.
Colour: Ointment (typically off-white/yellowish)
Used as an antifungal in skin infections. Also used in treatment of dermatophytoses of hairless areas of skin, particularly in tropical zones.
Apply the ointment several times a day to the affected area, as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Safe use during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. May be irritant to skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Benzoates may cause hypersensitivity reactions; reports of non-immunological contact urticaria exist. The acid content may be irritant to skin, eyes, and mucous membranes.
Benzoic Acid provides antifungal activity while Salicylic Acid offers keratolytic action, together treating dermatophytosis and fungal skin infections
Suitable for topical application on affected skin areas including burns, insect bites, fungal infections and eczema, especially in tropical regions
